Community Outreach: Care Bags for the Unhoused

With the holiday season upon us it is important that we remember those less fortunate. So, in our effort to serve the community at large, we are organizing a Bags for the Unhoused initiative on Sunday, December 18th at 6:00pm. We will be at Dark Haven packing bags for the unhoused with essential items and food. If you would like to contribute to this effort, we welcome all donations and assistance. Some helpful items to donate are:

-        Socks

-        Wet wipes

-        Deodorant

-        Soap

-        Toothpaste and toothbrush

-        Chapstick

-        Razors

-        Bandages and other first aid supplies

-        OTC pain relievers (Tylenol, Motrin, Ibuprofen, BC Powder, etc.)

-        Canned food (pop top cans only)

-        Individually wrapped snacks and candy

-        Hand sanitizer

-        Gloves or mittens

-        Sunscreen

Please bring all donations to Dark Haven by Sunday, December 18th at 6pm and we hope you’ll join us to pack and distribute the bags!
